We headed back to Midcoast Maine today. Had a very nice time at the cabin, since the weather was absolutely gorgeous. No flowers in bloom except for our daffodils. Just this morning, we could see some of the trees starting to get their buds, so we should see a lot more green leaves next trip. We hope to get back to the mountain in the last week of the month. Hopefully a few restaurants will be open for the summer season.
I forgot to share this photo from my walk on the golf course. This is a spotted salamander, common in Maine wooded areas. Apparently they excrete toxins from their skin, so I did not pick it up for a closer look:
Stay Safe !!!
