Our Turkey said “Oink Oink”

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, and thank you all for the nice Holiday Wishes. We had a quiet day, choosing to hang out at home. Lou cooked a ham, and it was delicious, topped off with his homemade applesauce. We will have turkey and all the trimmings for Christmas.

As usual, Natasha and Stitch slept most of the afternoon. I forgot to mention – Natasha turned 4 this past week.

Gifts, gifts, gifts

We have certainly been lucky this past week. A few surprises arrived:

Grandma sent Christmas early so we could enjoy our gifts in Maine:

Warm & Snuggly Socks for Me

The Perfect Cooking Apparel for Lou

And, an elf on the shelf for the pups

And, from Chrissie, Yan, and Louie

A lovely gift basket

And drawings and more by Little Louie:

Not to be outdone, Lou surprised me with flowers for our anniversary – 38 years today!

We are planning a quiet Thanksgiving tomorrow, and will return to Florida next week.

Good Morning

Beautiful sunrise this morning. All is well here. Stay tuned for updates on the project.

Edit: For once, a promised update sooner than later. Took these snapshots of the train depot project when I stepped out with Stitch (Natasha and Lou still sleeping):

Rumor is we may have more concrete today.
