Lazy Sunday

This is a good illustration of our weekend:

We did have some excitement yesterday. The refrigerator stopped working. Thank you, General Electric. Of course, it is a holiday weekend, so no service until Tuesday …

Happy Birthday, Lou

Would be remiss in not wishing Lou a Happy Birthday. 70 years today – another milestone reached. At our ages, we are just happy to celebrate each new day.

Here's a cute photo Kathy took of him when we visited Disney in February. I will have a photo tomorrow of the super cool gift the kids sent.

Not Much New

People have been asking about us. We are fine. We are delaying our travel North for a few weeks. Lou needs to have carpal tunnel surgery, so he will get that done by the same surgeon who did his shoulder a few years ago.

Lou left early to do take care of some stuff for the boat. The dogs are Not happy he is gone. I've shared a similar pic before, but they are anxiously awaiting for their hero:

Had a Nice Time

Nothing too exciting – just hung out in the room, napped, and went out to eat a few times. Had a delicious dinner at Artist Point Restaurant, starting out with complimentary bubbly to celebrate the Birthday:

We head home tomorrow, after breakfast and picking up the dogs from their Vacation Villa.

Thank You

Thanks for all the Birthday Greetings. We've popped up to Disney for a couple of days at the Wilderness Lodge. No real plans, just relaxing and eating out.

Lou took this pic last night at California Grill. Yes, I could have smiled … I wore my Birthday Button because it was actually my Birthday, not just to get a free dessert!

Designer Dog …

We had the ladies over today to sort through a little design project. Yes, another one! The built-in TV in the family room is fritzing out, so replacing it leads to replacing the whole wall unit area. And then the sofa too (We've been going to replace it anyway).

As we were looking at carpet samples for the new area rug, Stitch decided to show us his pick:
