This is the week of the Honda Classic PGA Golf Tournament. It is not Lou's favorite event because they take over the parks, mess up traffic, and crowd the local restaurants. I reminded him we used to like having a golf tournament here, but that's when we liked golf!
It rained very hard for 1-2 hours this afternoon. I thought we were going to wash away:
Natasha was not pleased. Stitch enjoyed running around in the water.
Lou is convinced they blocked neighborhood drainage to maximize drainage from the golf course. Of course, we don't know if that is possible, but that's our story!
I still need to post our New Year's Cruise photos, but here are a few from Walt DIsney World earlier this month. I did manage to get up and out before sunrise one morning:
And, her lazy brother:
All is well. I seem to do well with my walking 2 out of every 3 days. So, more work to do trying to get to some type of fitness level. Lou continues to refine his train layout. We lead a very exciting life!
It’s been quiet on the blogging front. After a nice trip to Disney, we came back and promptly caught flu bugs and colds.
Ben and Emily headed back to the chilly Northeast yesterday – I don’t I think they were happy to leave the sunshine, even though we are going through a cold spell.
Lou made homemade cream of broccoli soup to warm us up – yum!
We are still at Disney. Heading home tomorrow. Photos to come later.
Folks have asked about a hair update. Here you go:
We are back at Disney World with Kathy and Steve. Raining today, but we still had fun. Getting ready to head back out to go to dinner.
Thanks, Emily and Ben, for watching the Princess and her brother.
